I’ve been blogging on and off for a few years now, initially just for me but now my blogging is public and image is important to me. One of the key features that people first see is your logo. This heads your blog, goes on your social media and if you’re like me then it sits proudly at the top of your emails to subscribers too. The logo is a really important feature that sets you apart from everyone else.

How to make a logo with LogoJoy

Now I’m pretty happy with my logo for My Money Cottage, but I do have another blog that’s just for me. I hadn’t designed a logo for it, so when LogoJoy asked me to try out their services, I jumped at the chance.

Getting started is simple enough, simply enter your company/blog name in the box and you’ll then be shown lots of logo images. The idea is that you choose five of these images in the style you like so that LogoJoy can narrow down your requirements.

Once you’ve done that, you move onto colour palettes. I was torn between these two. I wanted something feminine to represent my Mummy blog! Initially, I settled on the purply one.

You have the option to add a slogan too and choose from various symbols.

My Chosen Logo

I wanted a logo that represented us as a family of five. Once the logos were generated, I chose this one with the five stars, one for each of us. I was able to change my mind about the final colour and actually went for pink in the end as the purples were too dark.

I also added some nifty little touches such as the gold foil to the symbol and the lettering.

There are three packages. The basic package is priced at $20 and will bag you your logo. Then, there’s the premium package. this gives you so much more and is really good value for the little extras you get. I’d really recommend getting the vector files as this is what allows you to ensure your image works well if enlarged etc without losing image quality.

For $165 you can bag even more features, including one hour design time which might be beneficial if you need extra support in designing your logo.

Get a one hour consultation with one of our designers to make custom changes to your logo. Custom deliverables take 1-3 business days.

You can also get this fab social media kit add on too.
