How I plan to make extra cash in September!

How I plan to make extra cash in September!

As always, I’m on the hunt for extra cash in September. August has been a bit of a rubbish month for extra cash if I’m honest, the children have been off school, I’ve been mad busy with my job & we’ve had a week away. Back to reality in September though, back to the normal routine and back to the money making in the last push up to Christmas. I thought it might be helpful to share how I plan to make extra cash in September!

How I plan to make extra cash in September…

Aside from my regular job, I spend a lot of time boosting our income in other ways. There are some things I do day in day out, week in week out that boost our income, then there are other things that come and go.

Matched Betting

As always, I’ll be continuing with Matched Betting. I’m a mahoosive fan of matched betting and I had made thousands of pounds in the two and a half years I’ve been doing it. I’ve let it slide massively over the summer though. The lack of popular football does make it difficult to maintain regular profits and I’ve only made a few quid in August.

For September, I’ve made the conscious decision just to focus on risk-free offers. For the most part, this will be sports offers. I’m a sucker for casino offers but they don’t guarantee a profit and profit is key for me this month. There are quite a lot of new signup offers live now over on the Profit Accumulator website and I’ll be ploughing through as many as these as I possibly can. I completed one yesterday that netted me £41 profit for about 10 minutes “work”. A few more of those and I’ll be a happy bunny! As well as the signups, some of the easy reloads are reappearing along with the new football season. I made just over £8 with a Ladbrokes offer yesterday which took me to just under £50 profit just from matched betting.

Accumulator refunds are another big favourite for me. I rely heavily on the Acca Catcher with Profit Accumulator and always lock-in a profit from the start. It’s true that some of the regular offers have become less profitable, but they are still profitable!

I’ve only just started to write sponsored (paid) posts on my blog but I’ve been very fortunate to receive two sponsored posts in August. I’m hoping to get more paid work in September but I’m conscious that I don’t want to just write about anything for money. Everything I write about on My Money Cottage needs to be relevant. I’m a Mum who likes to make money from home. These are the things I write about, family life, making & saving money and I’m being careful not to veer away from that too much. My blog is really exciting me at the moment and I’m really happy with the way things are going. Making money from it is a huge bonus.

Swagbucks has always been a good little money-spinner for me. It’s a site I dip in and out of regularly and there’s always something to do to boost my swagbucks. At the moment they have a swago board on so I’m focussing on filling that. I’m about 300 swagbucks away from being able to cash out so I’m determined to hit that in the next couple of weeks!

If you haven’t already joined up, I really recommend giving it a try, plus you can earn extra Swagbucks at the moment by signing up through me!

Selling stuff

I really need to give myself a kick and start selling some of the stuff we don’t need any more! We have a really good quality high chair sitting in the garage, a couple of pairs of still-decent Clarks shoes that the children have outgrown and all kinds of toys that they just don’t play with any more. I always seem to put off listing stuff to sell. I’m not sure why as I know it’s pretty easy money! So September, with the children back in school and all that extra time on my hands is the time I’m going to do it! I hope to make around £100 from everything we’ve got. Fingers crossed!

Survey sites

As well as Swagbucks, there are LOADS of other survey sites that I need to give a big push to in September. I’ll be writing more about these throughout the month as I trundle my way through them. They’re not going to make me rich, but they definitely will give my earnings a boost.

Affiliate income

I’ll admit that I’m really small fry when it comes to affiliate income! There are some people out there that put an awful lot of time into their affiliate earnings and see massive results. It’s incredible how much money people can earn! I’m very careful about what I promote and will only recommend sites and items that I genuinely have faith in. Affiliate earnings is an area I really want to push over the next few months!

Some great ideas here. I love Swagbucks, it can be a great little earner. Matched betting confuses me, I keep saying I’m going to try to understand it but I end up getting distracted lol

It’s definitely worth giving matched betting a go, it took me ages to take the plunge and give it a go but I’m so glad I did. If you give Profit Accumulator a whirl, you can do two offers without paying a subscription and the instructions include step-by-step videos, makes it so much easier!

Im sorry like you I really need to make some extra cash every month for the rest of the year and would be delighted with any hint or tips you have which might help, Ive started surveys which is okay but the eligability questions often mean Im rejected, is there a site that doesnt ask so many questions? Matched betting is a world Ive never entered so any advice there would be much apreciatedas would an explanation of the terms used.
Sorry I seem to have gone on rather a lot
But Id be really grateful for any hints and tips
    Good luck with your plan.

I’d really recommend giving matched betting a try, it’s still my biggest earner over two years on. If you go through Profit Accumulator here – there are two offers you can complete without signing up that should make you around £40-£45. They have video instructions so watch those a few times and you’ll soon get to grips with it. Swagbucks is also great because a lot of their offers aren’t surveys, the link is in the article if you want to give them a try too. Also, if you follow me on social media, I’m regularly sharing opportunities so hopefully you’ll be able to take up some of those 🙂 Good luck and don’t be afraid to get in touch, happy to help if I can!

Great ideas here. I need to get into matched betting, I have watched the videos a few times but have yet to take the plunge! x

Lots of great tips here. I have been thinking about giving matched betting ago but not been brave enough yet #bloglove

Some really great ideas. I too am trying to ‘ramp up’ my blog sponsored posts as I have been getting at least 1 a month but would like at least 2 a month for now. I am a member of Swagbucks but have never really used it so I must log back in again! 🙂

I used to be a member of a few survey sites and they were a nice little side earner, but I find it far quicker to just earn money through my writing now so I haven’t done surveys for ages. I kind of miss the more fun ones!
Thanks for linking up to #BloggerClubUK 🙂

Great tips, especially selling! I’m a fan of eBay, especially since I picked up courage to use my Hermes instead of royal mail. Much cheaper on larger items.

I’ll have to look into my Hermes, I’m guilty of just auto-piloting to the post office!
