Ultimate Christmas Gift Guide for Kids

Ultimate Christmas Gift Guide for Kids

I can’t believe that we’re fast approaching that time of year again! Christmas is creeping up on us again, it always amazes me how quickly it comes around. With three children in the house, I always try to plan fairly well in advance with Christmas presents, in fact I usually start to buy them after our eldest’s birthday in October. It can be so hard to know what to buy them though! There are some fantastic gifts around this year though. I’ve selected a few and put together my ultimate Christmas gift guide for kids!

Magic Santa Letter

Magic Santa Letter

I love getting personalised letters from Santa for the kids, especially my daughter who absolutely believes still. This is a gorgeous set and you can grab 25% off here by using the code i25off at the checkout.

Harry Potter Playing Cards

Harry Potter playing cards.

Both my older two children are Harry Potter mad and they’ll both love these Harry Potter themed playing cards. A great gift for fans or new recruits to the world of witchcraft and wizardry, this is a themed card set with an embossed gold tin featuring the iconic Hogwarts crest and (rather catchy) school motto ‘Never Tickle a Sleeping Dragon’. I love this set, and it’s available at Find Me a Gift for only £7.99!

Brainbox Marvin's Magic

BrainBox Marvin’s Magic.

We’re big fans of the BrainBox games in our house. They’re great fun and they have a wonderful educational angle too. The idea is that you study a card for 10 seconds and then answer a question based on the roll of a die. If the question is answered correctly, the card is kept, and the person with the most number of cards after 5 or 10 minutes is the winner. It’s great family fun and I know it’ll be a huge hit in our house when the family come round over Christmas. BrainBox games are available from all good toy stores and online stockists including Amazon. For further details visit www.brainbox.co.uk.

Pusheen Unicorn Sock & Mug Set

Pusheen Unicorn Sock & Mug Set.

There seems to be a big unicorn craze amongst the girls at my daughter’s school at the moment. There are some really gorgeous unicorn themed gifts out there! I absolutely love this cute Pusheen unicorn sock & mug set. It’s super cute, girly and perfect for hot chocolate in the winter. You can bag yours from Find Me a Gift here.

Design your own comic book

Design your own Super Hero Comic Book

It’s sometimes really hard to find presents for older boys, I know I’ve found it trickier this year! This Design your own Super Hero comic book is great for older boys and girls who are into their comics/superheros or just being creative. This Design Your Own Superhero Comic Book is designed to help guide users through a project to create their own comic books step by step. There are various different stages to the process, which can be dipped into, completed by different children as a group project and enjoyed over a longer period of time, or which can be systematically worked through as one process from start to finish. I absolutely love this. You can get these from Find Me A Gift for only £9.99.

We have had so much fun with playmags! My three children aged 11, 8 and 2 have all got so much out of these magnetic tiles!

There are so many possibilities with playmags and I was amazed how creative my children were. These are just a few of their masterpieces. They also made a house for Peppa Pig, a race track for their cars and a boat they named BORIS using the letter tiles. It’s been lovely to watch them playing together. The tiles are very sturdy so I wasn’t concerned about my youngest dropping them and breaking them. The magnets are strong so designs stay together really well. You can find Playmags over on Amazon, or find out more about them at www.playmags.com.
