It’s now less than two weeks until Christmas, probably the most expensive time of the year for most of us. It’s not too late to get hold of some extra cash before the big day though!
By far the quickest and most profitable way to earn a decent amount of money NOW is to give Matched Betting a try. This is still my biggest earner and I can’t see anything coming along any time soon to take over from it. You can make a quick £45 here today. And if you can dedicate an hour or so every day from now until the big day then you really could make some serious cash.
The beauty of Matched Betting is that it is completely risk-free and my big favourite, it’s tax free too! So, however much you make from this, the tax man can never touch it, brilliant!
I’ve made thousands over the last two years from Matched Betting and Christmas is just about the best time to give it a go, the bookies are offering free money left right and centre to entice new customers.
I’ll also be increasing my activity on Swagbucks. I love Swagbucks as the tasks and opportunities to make money are so varied. If I’m tired and in one of my “can’t be bothered” moods then I can happily sit letting videos run in the background or play the games. If I’m feeling more motivated I’ll tackle the surveys and attempt the offers in the Discover section. I’ve also downloaded the Swagbutton which alerts me to codes for extra points. On top of that I use the Google Chrome extension so that Swagbucks is my default search engine. This means I get credited with points frequently, just for browsing the internet (which I do a lot anyway). I’m more than hopeful that I’ll make at least another £10 from Swagbucks within the next fortnight.
Slice the Pie
I haven’t been a member of Slice the Pie for long, however I am quickly becoming a huge fan. I like writing and with Slice the Pie you get paid for it. All it takes is quick product reviews for $. The items are displayed on the screen, you write a short, honest review, estimate the price and submit. It really is that simple. I’m hoping to redeem again this week.
One of the quickest ways to make a little extra is to sell your unwanted bits and bobs. Now might be the perfect time to sell toys that the children no longer play with. It helps make room for the new ones they’ll get at Christmas and lots of people are more than happy to buy decent, second-hand toys as Christmas presents, particularly when money is tight. There are lots of free ways you can do this, particularly via social media. I always find Facebook local For Sale or Swap sites are a brilliant way to flock bits.
Many of us now do the bulk of our Christmas shopping online, I know I do! It’s quick, easy and you don’t have to fight the crowds hunting for presents. Every time I shop online, I do it via a Cashback site these days. This means that once the purchase has tracked, you receive Cashback which you can withdraw to your bank/paypal account. This isn’t a quick money-maker as the Cashback can take a while to track and be credited. It’s definitely something to get in the habit of doing though and will help in the new year when you’re still recovering from the expense of Christmas.
Figure out which ways suit you, plan how and when you’ll do it and crack on with it. Half the battle is being organised. I’ve got my day planned out today with a checklist of things I need to achieve and jobs I need to get done. If I didn’t write it down, it wouldn’t get done!
