25 Fall Coffee Recipes to Make at Home

Fall coffee is one of those things I get excited about every year. As soon as fall starts creeping in, I’m ready for pumpkin, maple, cinnamon and basically anything that makes my usual coffee taste a bit more seasonal.

I do love grabbing a coffee when I’m out, but I really don’t love how much they cost now! Making them at home means I can have one whenever I fancy it, and most of them aren’t difficult to make at all.

There are 25 fall coffee recipes here, with a mixture of hot and iced drinks because I drink both right through fall. There are plenty of the usual pumpkin spice flavors, but I’ve added some different ones too so it’s not all pumpkin everything.

9. Copycat Starbucks Caramel Iced Coffee

If caramel is your usual coffee shop order, this is a really easy one to make at home instead. It’s cold, sweet and creamy with plenty of caramel flavor mixed through.

Servings: 1

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp of ground coffee
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or oat milk
  • 1 tbsp Low-sugar caramel sauce
  • ½ tsp Vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes
  • Store-bought whipped cream

Instructions:

  1. Brew the coffee and let it cool.

  2. Fill a glass with ice cubes, then pour the cooled coffee over the ice. Add almond or oat milk to your preferred creaminess, stir in the caramel sauce, and a splash of vanilla extract.

  3. Shake the whipped cream can, then top the iced coffee generously with whipped cream.

  4. Drizzle extra caramel sauce over the whipped cream if desired for added flavor and a pretty finish.

10. Iced White Chocolate Mocha

White chocolate makes this feel a little more indulgent than a regular iced coffee. It’s creamy and sweet with plenty of coffee flavor coming through too.

Servings: 1

Ingredients:

Homemade White Chocolate Syrup:

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips (high-quality or sugar-free)

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or milk (adjust for thickness)

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Iced White Chocolate Mocha:

  • 1 cup brewed espresso or strong brewed coffee (cooled)

  • 1/2 cup milk (almond, oat, dairy, etc.)

  • 2–3 tablespoons homemade white chocolate syrup (adjust to taste)

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Ice cubes

  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)

  • Chocolate shavings or white chocolate chips (optional, for garnish)

11. Maple Cinnamon Latte

Maple and cinnamon are such a good combination once fall rolls around. This is warm, creamy and sweet without being too much, and it’s lovely on a chilly morning.

Servings: 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of milk (I used 2%)
  • ¼ cup espresso or concentrated coffee
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Add the coffee, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon to your mug, letting the hot espresso dissolve everything together.

  2. Warm the milk on the stove over medium-high heat for 4–6 minutes, removing it just before it starts to boil.

  3. Pour the heated milk into a frother and froth until thick and creamy.

  4. Pour the frothed milk over the coffee, scooping extra foam on top.

  5. Sprinkle a little more cinnamon over the foam if you’d like, then serve and enjoy!

12. Hot Chocolate Mocha

This is basically what happens when you can’t decide between coffee and hot chocolate! It’s rich and chocolatey but still has that coffee kick, and it’s lovely when the weather starts getting colder.

Servings: 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1-2 tablespoons pure maple syrup or honey (or a natural sweetener like stevia): Adjust based on your sweetness preference.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tablespoons dark chocolate chips (optional)
  • Optional toppings: Whipped cream (try a lighter version or coconut whipped cream), a sprinkle of cocoa powder, chocolate sauce or chocolate chips.

Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, warm the almond milk, cocoa powder, and maple syrup until hot but not boiling, stirring occasionally.

  2. Whisk in the chocolate chips and stir until melted and fully combined.

  3. Stir in the vanilla extract.

  4. Pour the hot chocolate into a mug.

  5. Top with whipped cream and any extras like cocoa powder, chocolate sauce, or chocolate shavings.

  6. Serve warm and enjoy every sip!

There are so many good fall coffee recipes here that I’m not sure which one I want to try first! I love that there’s a mix of hot and iced drinks too, so there’s something for those chilly fall mornings as well as the days when it still feels a bit like summer.
