It was my Mother-in-Law’s 70th birthday last week and we really wanted to get her something special. As usual in our house, it’s me that generally sorts the gifts out and this was no exception. I wanted something she could keep and treasure, something that she would look at and smile whenever it caught her eye.
We’ve recently moved away from my in-laws, we’re only 30 miles away but they’ve gone from seeing their grandchildren every few days to once a fortnight or so. They’ve never complained but we know it hurts.
So, after much deliberating I decided on a personalised photo frame. We’d had a gorgeous picture of the children that I knew would fit really well.
I trawled the internet not quite finding what I wanted, until I stumbled across the perfect item. A solid oak photo frame from MijMoj that could be personalised. It was really reasonably priced too.
I ordered the frame a few weeks before her birthday and it arrived within 3 days. I was super impressed! For a personalised item that’s pretty great going! I was so impressed that last week I ordered one for my own Mum for Christmas. That’s arrived this afternoon, again 3 days after ordering.
The frames were really well packaged, the frames itself are packaged in a well-fitting box which is then wrapped a few times with bubble wrap. This came within another box with added tissue paper which provided extra cushioning.
The photo frame itself is made of solid oak and has a really luxury item feel to it. It looks and feels like a high quality, really well made piece. I also love the tag which is held round with a thin band of elastic.
We gave my Mother-in-Law her frame yesterday, she was absolutely thrilled with it and it now takes pride of place on her fireplace. I can’t wait for my Mum to open hers on Christmas day.
