3-Ingredient Vegan Berry Frozen Yogurt Cups (Perfect for Summer Snacking!)

I’m always looking for easy little snacks to keep on hand – especially ones that feel like a treat but aren’t loaded with a bunch of stuff I can’t pronounce. These Vegan Berry Frozen Yogurt Cups were kind of a happy accident one afternoon when I had some leftover coconut yogurt and a handful of berries to use up. I tossed them together and popped ’em in the freezer, and honestly? They turned out so much better than I expected.

The best part is, they’re made with just three ingredients and take all of five minutes to throw together. No blender, no added sugar (unless your yogurt is sweetened), and no baking – which is perfect for those warmer days when the oven is the last thing I wanna mess with. My kids even grabbed a few after school and thought they were getting dessert, which I’m totally okay with.

I used mini cupcake liners to make them a fun bite-sized snack, but you could easily use a silicone mold or even pour it into a small container and slice it into bars. It’s super flexible, and really – use whatever berries you’ve got on hand. Strawberries, blackberries, even chopped mango would probably be delicious. Just don’t skip the freezing time, they need a solid 2-3 hours to set up properly or they’ll be more like a yogurt puddle!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup vegan yogurt (I used sweetened coconut yogurt): I love the subtle sweetness and creamy texture of coconut yogurt, but feel free to use your favorite vegan variety here.

  • ¼ cup blueberries: These little bursts of sweetness add a refreshing pop of flavor in every bite.

  • ¼ cup raspberries: Raspberries bring a bright, tangy note that balances perfectly with the creamy yogurt.

Recipe Instructions

You can find a printable recipe card at the bottom of this post.

1. Spoon the yogurt into mini cupcake liners, filling each about ¾ of the way.

2. Top each yogurt cup with berries.

3. Place the cups in the freezer and freeze for at least 2-3 hours.

Top Tips

1. Use silicone molds or liners for easy removal.
Paper cupcake liners work, but silicone ones make popping out the frozen cups way easier – plus, they’re reusable!

2. Give them time to fully freeze.
It can be tempting to sneak one early, but they really do need at least 2–3 hours in the freezer to firm up. Overnight is even better if you want that perfect texture.

3. Sweeten to taste.
If your yogurt isn’t already sweetened, you might want to stir in a little maple syrup or agave before filling the cups.

4. Get creative with the fruit!
Don’t feel limited to just berries – chopped mango, kiwi, or even a few chocolate chips can add fun twists.

5. Let them sit a minute before eating.
Once they come out of the freezer, give them a minute or two to soften slightly. It makes for a much creamier bite.

6. Make a big batch and store for snack attacks.
They keep well in the freezer for up to two weeks – perfect for grabbing when you need a quick, refreshing treat.
