Candles at Christmas – A Magical Glow

Candles at Christmas make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. The gentle flicker of the candlelight it just magical at this time of year.

At Christmas we have a few Christmas candle burners, we have a couple of little gingerbread houses and my favourite is a large ceramic snowman.

I can’t remember where I bought him but he’s one of my favourite Christmas decorations now.

I love the gentle, flickering glow from candles, it’s kind of magical. I also love the thousands of different scents that fill the house and make it feel all cosy and warm.

By far, my favourite candles have got to be Yankee Candles. I’ve tried various others yet I always find myself going back to Yankee. At the moment, I’m burning a £1 candle from Asda, which is actually smelling quite nice and is fairly strong. Often, the cheap ones just don’t seem to smell at all. We’ve been to a Christmas get together this afternoon at a friends and she had a Yankee candle burning away in the kitchen, it filled the house and I felt myself having withdrawal symptoms!

So, I’ve just treated myself and ordered one I haven’t tried before.

This has really good reviews and sounds as though it smells of all the traditional Christmassy things, cinammon, cookies and mince pies. As I’m currently on a Free Trial with Amazon Prime, this will arrive tomorrow with free delivery. I can’t wait to try it out!

I’m always keen to try out new candles so I’d love to hear any recommendations or offers.
