Copycat Chick-Fil-A Caramel Crumble Milkshake
I’ve been completely hooked on Chick-fil-A’s seasonal milkshakes lately, and when I heard about their Caramel Crumble Milkshake, I knew I had to try recreating it at home. It’s the kind of treat that tastes like a cozy bakery in a glass, with creamy vanilla ice cream, rich caramel, and those irresistible blondie bits that add the perfect chewy crunch. I’m not kidding, this copycat version turned out so close to the original that I might never need to wait for it to come back on their menu again.
What makes this milkshake so special is those buttery blondie crumbles. They’re golden, chewy, and slightly crisp around the edges, and when they’re mixed into the shake, they create that sweet, caramel-cookie flavor Chick-fil-A fans love. I baked a small batch just for this recipe, and it was hard not to snack on them before they even made it to the blender. If you love caramel and butterscotch, this combination is a dream come true.
The best part is you can make it anytime, no drive-thru required. It’s perfect for a weekend treat, a cozy movie night, or just when you want to spoil yourself with something indulgent and homemade. I love topping mine with a big swirl of whipped cream, extra blondie bits, and of course, a cherry on top. It’s rich, creamy, and downright addictive, everything a milkshake should be.

Ingredients
Blondie Crumbles:
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted – Gives the blondies that rich, buttery flavor and soft texture.
- ½ cup + 2 tablespoons brown sugar – Adds sweetness and a hint of caramel depth to every bite.
- 1 egg – Helps bind the blondies together and keeps them soft and chewy.
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – Brings out the warm, bakery-style flavor in the blondies.
- ¼ teaspoon salt – Balances the sweetness and enhances all the other flavors.
- 1 teaspoon baking powder – Helps the blondies rise slightly for that perfect soft center.
- 1 cup all purpose flour – Creates the structure that holds the blondie crumbles together.
Milkshake:
- 3 cups vanilla ice cream – The creamy base that makes the milkshake thick and indulgent.
- 2 tablespoons butterscotch sauce – Adds a rich, buttery sweetness that pairs perfectly with caramel.
- ¼ cup caramel sauce – Swirls in that irresistible golden caramel flavor Chick-fil-A fans love.
- ½ cup whole milk – Thins the shake just enough for smooth, sippable perfection.
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – Enhances the flavor and ties everything together with a sweet finish.
Topping:
- Blondie Bits – The star of the show, giving every sip a chewy, buttery crunch.
- Whipped Cream – Adds a light, creamy crown to this decadent shake.
- Maraschino Cherry – The classic finishing touch that makes it look and taste extra special.

Recipe Instructions
You can find a printable recipe card at the bottom of this post.
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a bowl, combine the melted butter and brown sugar. Mix well, then let it cool for a couple of minutes so the butter isn’t too hot before adding the egg.

3. Whisk in the egg and vanilla until smooth and fully combined.
4. Add the salt, baking powder, and flour. Gently fold everything together with a rubber spatula until you have a thick blondie batter.

5. Lightly spray a small baking dish with nonstick spray, then spread the batter evenly inside.

6. Bake for about 25 minutes, or until the top turns slightly golden brown.

7. Let the blondies cool for 15 minutes. Crumble them onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and break into small pieces. Broil for 5–8 minutes, or until the crumbs are a deeper golden brown.

8. Remove from the oven and place the crumbles in the refrigerator to cool and crisp up.
9. While they’re cooling, make the milkshake. Add the vanilla ice cream, butterscotch sauce, caramel sauce, milk, and vanilla to a blender.

10. Blend until smooth and creamy.

11. Once the blondie crumbles have cooled, break them into even smaller pieces with your fingers.

12. Stir about ½ cup of the blondie crumbles into the milkshake.

13. Pour into a serving glass, top with whipped cream, extra blondie crumbles, and a maraschino cherry. Enjoy!

Serving & Storing
-
I love serving this milkshake right away while it’s thick and frosty. The texture is just perfect when it’s fresh from the blender.
-
If you want to make it extra fun, drizzle a little caramel inside your glass before pouring in the milkshake. It makes it look and taste amazing.
-
The blondie crumbles can be made ahead of time and kept in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days.
-
If you have leftover milkshake (which rarely happens around here), you can pop it into the freezer and let it soften for a few minutes before drinking later.
-
For a fun twist, try serving it with a straw and a spoon so you can enjoy every last bit of those blondie chunks.
