Weekly meal plan no 13

It’s a funny week this week with the bank holiday so meals may change slightly but that’s fine.

Here’s this week’s meal plan.

Monday – Lasagne, garlic bread & salad.

Tuesday – Roast chicken, potatoes & veg. We didn’t eat the chicken on Sunday as we went out and grabbed some paninis for lunch, so I’m cooking Sunday’s chicken today.

Wednesday – Pasta & meatballs. I bought a huge bag of pasta from ASDA a few weeks back so slowly using this up.

Thursday – Toasties and salad. Quick meal night on Thursdays due to swimming lessons. I recently invested in a toastie maker and I LOVE IT!

Friday – Slow cooked gammon with chips & beans.

Saturday – Pizza/chicken stir fry.

Sunday – We’re hoping to get a day out on Sunday so will either make sandwiches or grab something whilst we are out.

This week, I’m making use of my slow cooker and toastie maker, these are similar to what I have:

I bought this toastie maker when it was on offer, but I’d definitely recommend it as it makes the most delicious toasted sandwiches!

I’ve had our slow cooker for so long that I don’t think they make it anymore. But I recommend a large capacity slow cooker if you’re cooking for the family.
