I’m all for a Valentine’s dinner that feels special without creating more work. A cozy night at home, good food, and not having to stand over the stove all evening sounds pretty perfect to me. My husband seems to burn everything he touches so there’s no chance of him taking over for the evening!
I love using the slow cooker for Valentine’s Day. I can get everything prepped earlier in the day, then let it do the hard work while I get on with everything else. By dinnertime, all that’s left to do is dish up and enjoy.

I have only made the Slow Cooker Sweet and Sour Pork so far from this list and it was delicious and so easy to make. I chopped everything up the night before, so in the morning I could just dump it all in and go. Excellent served over rice with an egg roll on the side.
