Paid to Click
Paid to Click sites have been a popular way to make money online for a number of years now. Whilst they’re often thought of as slow burners, the figures can quickly add up when you mix Paid to Click work in with other side hustles.
What is Paid to Click?
Paid to Click sites are pretty self-explanatory, although the way they operate has changed over recent years. It used to be that you would click on adverts within in the site, another website pops up, you stay on the page for a set amount of time (usually up to a maximum of 30 seconds) and you receive £,$ or points towards cash. Nowadays, Paid to Click sites tend to offer more variety in the ways you can make money, although the traditional PTC sites do still exist as you’ll see further down.
The beauty of Paid to Click sites is that they’re really easy to use, and you can dip in and out of them as often as you like. Whilst they’re never going to make you a millionaire overnight, the amounts you earn do add up, and you can use them alongside other online income sources to save up through the year for big events such as Christmas or a holiday when every penny makes a difference.
Paid to Click sites
There are lots of paid to click sites, and they’re are new ones popping up all the time, but these are a few of my favourites. It’s worth noting that many of the original Paid to Click sites have moved away from the traditional PTC method of paying you to click on adverts, so bear that in mind when reading through this post.
Neobux
Neobux offer the PTC adverts in the traditional sense. You get paid for clicking on adverts and staying on them for a set amount of time.
As you can see, you don’t earn much per advert, but if you like sitting in front of the TV earning a bit of money and not really having to think about what you’re doing, then it’s easy work.
Scarlet Clicks
Scarlet Clicks is another, traditional PTC site, where you make money by clicking on the advertisements and staying on them for a set amount of time. Again, they don’t pay big bucks per advert as you can see below.

It’s worth noting that Scarlet Clicks don’t pay out via PayPal either, so you’ll need to make sure you have one of the other payment methods such as Skrill set up.
Clixsense
With Clixsense, you can make money in lots of different ways, including surveys, games, and simple tasks.
Like many of the Paid to Click sites, Clixsense also have an offer wall where they share different offers from selected partners. They sometime have quizzes that are a really fun way to earn dollars – they can be a little frustrating though so we’re slowly adding the answers onto My Money Cottage. You can see the Pokémon Spot the Difference quiz answers here, for example.
With clixsense, you earn real money as you go and you can see the dollars building up at the top of the page.
Wad Ojooo
Another site that remains traditional in how it works as a PTC site – with Wad Ojooo you simply click on the adverts, stay on them for a set amount of time, and get paid for doing so.

Swagbucks
Swagbucks is a firm favourite in the Paid to Click world, although they tend to offer more involved get paid to tasks than actual paid to click work.
With this site, you earn swagbucks rather than real cash when you complete tasks. You can then convert your bucks into PayPal cash or Amazon vouchers when you hit a certain amount.
You get slightly more value if you opt for Amazon vouchers, but I usually opt for PayPal cash as I like to have the option to put my earnings away into savings rather than being tied to spending it on Amazon.
Swagbucks have loads of ways you can earn money, they have their featured offers which update regularly, as well as surveys, games and regular Swago boards.
You can find 10 ways to make money with Swagbucks here.
