Ben 10 Omnitrix and Action Figure Review
We were recently sent the Ben 10 Omnitrix along with two Ben 10 characters to review. These toys were released to coincide with the launch of the new Ben 10 movie which is now available to view on Cartoon Network.
Ben 10 was always a huge hit with my oldest son. Now 14, he’s definitely outgrown it but five-year-old Connor was absolutely thrilled with these toys. Connor has seen the Ben 10 cartoons and always enjoyed watching them. When the toys arrived, we sat down together and watched the new movie. He was hooked!
The Omnitrix
Connor is a huge fan of gadgets and toys that make him feel like he really is the hero so he LOVES the Omnitrix. Whilst this may look like some kind of cool watch, it’s actually a gadget from another galaxy. Once Ben 10 discovers the Omnitrix, his whole world changes dramatically. He’s able to change into different Alien heroes at the spin of a dial. The Omnitrix comes with three interchangeable faces, each one has it’s own unique sounds. Connor loves switching between Ben 10 and Kevin 11! The Omnitrix comes with other interchangeable parts too and there are over 100 possible combinations. After a little bit of fiddling, we discovered how to change the parts and Connor is now able to do this independently whenever he wants to change which hero he’s playing.
Ben 10 Space Armor Ben and Heatblast Action Figures
As well as the Omnitrix, we also received the Ben 10 Space Armor Ben Action Figure and the Heatblast figure.
These figures are both really well made! They’re sturdy yet have moving parts. Connor has loved pretending to be Ben 10 in the armor that allows him to rocket up into space!
These two figures have given Connor hours of fun, he’s absolutely loved getting imaginative with them, blasting around the room as if he really was in the depths of space.
Connor loves to get imaginative with his play, he’ll sit for hours with his toys having conversations and acting out different scenes. He has had hours of fun already with these Ben 10 toys!
As well as these two figures, there is a whole range of figures to collect.
You can see the Omnitrix along with some other fab gift ideas in my Christmas Gift Guide for Kids, Tweens & Teens.
