If you’re a regular reader of My Money Cottage, then you’ll know how much I love finding new ways to save money. Anything that helps me to keep hold of a few extra quid is a winner in my book. As a Mum of three, there always seems to be something that somebody needs, there’s always something that involves spending money that I hadn’t necessarily banked on parting with. It’s not just the children that can cost a fortune either, being married to a gadget lover doesn’t exactly come cheap!
My husband loves his gadgets. He’d own every newly released gizmo he could if he had the spare cash! But even the simplest things cost money these days. Both our two eldest children and both of us use headphone when we’re watching stuff online or listening to music. To be honest, we’re pretty lost without them!
When the kids have gone to bed, and my husband falls asleep in front of some rubbish programme or other, that’s my time for heading to YouTube and catching up on my favourite vloggers.
Although he’s snoring, he’s definitely not asleep, so there’s no way I can switch the TV off and actually listen to my YouTube videos!
Instead, I connect my headphones and turn up the volume to drown out the TV. That’s me sorted!
Finding great deals on gadgets
What is it about headphones that they never seem to last long? Between the four of us (littlest doesn’t have any), there always seems to be one pair that’s a little bit dodgy! So I often find myself scouring the internet hunting for a good deal on a new pair of headphones.
If you take a little bit of time though, it is pretty easy to find a great deal on bluetooth headphones.
And there are so many colourful options these days – perfect for the kids! There’s also the option between ear buds and actual headphones too. We tend to prefer the headphones as we only use them at home anyway. But ear buds are a great option if you’re using them out and about.
LatestDeals.co.uk have a whole section dedicated to sharing great deals on bluetooth headphones. They share the latest deals from top UK retailers such as Amazon, Currys and Argos – so you can find all the best deals in one place, without spending hours hunting online. They also offer a voucher section where you can usually find a valid voucher to tie in with one of their deals too, saving you even more money! Sounds pretty good to me!
