Morrisons NHS Discount
We all know just how vital the emergency services are to us, and it was really highlighted during the Covid-19 pandemic. Since then, many retailers have offered a generous discount service for key workers as recognition of how vital they are and how much we value their services. Morrisons launched their NHS Club back in April 2020 and although the offers have changed since then, it’s still worth joining if you’re eligible.
What is the Morrisons NHS Club?
Morrisons have a few different clubs that My Morrisons members can access. In order to join, you just need to register for a My Morrisons account which you can do either online or via the My Morrisons app. Once you’re all signed up, you can choose which club you want to be a part of:
- NHS Club
- Teachers Club
- Baby Club
- Christmas Savers
- Students Club
Once you’ve joined, you will be eligible for exclusive offers and discounts.
Members of the NHS club can also receive free online delivery which is a great bonus. I always do our food shopping online these days, it’s far less stressful than trying to fit the food shop into the week and it means that I’m not tempted by offers I see in store. At the time of writing, members of the NHS Club are the only ones eligible to receive free delivery, so it’s really worth signing up if you’re eligible.
Who can join the Morrisons NHS Club?
Anyone who works for the NHS can sign up for the club. When you request to join, you’ll be asked for your NHS email address. You’ll then receive a verification email just so that Morrisons can verify that you do work for the NHS.
And that’s it, you’re then good to go and all set to benefit from free delivery and various other exclusive offers, promotional coupons and discounts.
Can you still get the 10% Morrisons NHS Discount?
Throughout 2021 and some of 2022, Morrisons offered their Morrisons NHS Discount scheme. This gave NHS workers 10% off their shopping. They also offered a free delivery pass to NHS emergency service workers meaning that they could order their shopping online to be delivered at a time convenient to them. As the NHS was under so much pressure during the pandemic, this was really gratefully received at the time along with various other coronavirus pandemic discounts offered by other retailers.
Sadly, the NHS Morrisons Discount is no longer available, but it’s still worth signing up to My Morrisons and keeping an eye out for other Morrisons NHS discounts and promotional offers exclusively for NHS workers.
Many supermarkets and other retailers continue to offer discount schemes to emergency services workers including police offers, paramedics, NHS staff and the armed forces. If you belong to any of these, then it’s really worth checking out what offers you can benefit from.
