And that’s exactly what Pick My Postcode does. I’ve been a member of Pick My Postcode for quite a while now, so I thought it was about time I shared the daily draw website and explained a little about how the whole thing works.

Pick My Postcode is a daily draw website. You might have heard of it previously when it was called Free Postcode Lottery. Each day, a postcode is selected at random and any members in that postcode will then be able to claim a cash prize.

Survey draw
The results for the survey draw will be shown on the survey draw page. The survey draw is drawn at midday every day. As the name of the draw suggests, you may need to complete a short survey in order to see the result for this draw. The prize for this draw is £50.
Stackpot
The stackpot prize is £10 per postcode. Unlike the other draws, there can only be one winner with this one and it’s first come first served! The stackpot draw takes place at 9am and 9pm each day.
Bonus draws
There are three different bonus draws each day and you have to meet certain criteria in order to be eligible. You have to have a set amount in your bonus funds in order to qualify for a prize. The bonus draws take place at midday every day.

Similarly to the survey draw, you may have to complete a simple task to see the winning postcode for this draw. This time, you just need to watch a short video. At the moment, the prize for the video draw is £50, but it was £100 before the Covid pandemic. The video draw takes place at midday every day.
Mini draw
The mini draw is the one you’re most likely to miss. The winning postcode for this draw appears at some point between 6pm and 2am at the bottom of every page on the Pick My Postcode site. The prize for this one is £100 which rolls over if it isn’t claimed. The mini draw takes place at 6pm until 2am every day.
£5 flash draw
The £5 flash draw takes place at a random time each day and appears within an advert on site.
How do you know if you’re a winner and how do you claim your winnings with Pick My Postcode?
The only downside to these draws is that you won’t automatically be notified if your postcode wins. You will need to log in each day and check for yourself to see if you have a winning postcode. If you do, then you will see a “claim” button. The most effective way to make sure you don’t forget to check the winning postcode is to make sure that you’re signed up to the daily emails. In the emails, there is a link that you just need to click in order to take you to the results of the main draw.
The winner of the main draw will be shown on the homepage. If you’re lucky enough to be the winner, then you’ll see the “claim” button.
Your winnings will be sent to you via PayPal so it’s vital that you have a PayPal account set up.
What happens to unclaimed winnings?
As it’s down to users to actually log in and check whether they have the winning postcode, it does often happen that winnings go unclaimed. When this happens, those winnings then rollover to the next day, making it a bumper prize for the next winner.
As you can see, it’s fairly common for prizes to go unclaimed! If you don’t log in and hit “claim” on the day that your postcode wins, then you’re out of luck, there aren’t any chances for late claims.
What happens if there is more than one winner?
As the site has become more well known, it was inevitable that there would be more registrations, so the chances are that you won’t be the only registered player in your postcode. There is a section on the site where you can check how many people are registered with your postcode. At our last address, there were 9 registered players, and there are only 2 at our new address. Once the prize has been drawn and all the claims are in, the total prize fund will be split between all of the claimants within that postcode area.
What happens if there aren’t any entrants from the winning postcode?
The daily draw only uses postcodes that are registered by members. So, there’s no chance of a postcode being drawn without a winner. However, winners do have to check each day to see if they’ve won, so winnings do often go unclaimed.
Is Pick My Postcode Fair?
Yes, Pick My Postcode is completely fair. The winner of each draw is selected at random by machine, so you can rest assured that it’s a fair draw.
Pick My Postcode Bonus
As well as the main postcode draws, you can also earn bonus amounts too. The catch with this is that you can only cash out your bonus amount when your postcode wins and you make a claim. So if you do manage to build up a decent amount in bonus funds, make sure you get into the habit of checking the site each day to see if your postcode is a winner.
How to earn bonus funds
You can earn bonus funds just by checking the Pick My Postcode results each day. You will receive a 1p bonus each time you check the main draw, survey draw and video draw.
You will also receive a bonus for each referral you make who goes on to create their own account. Each new referral will earn you up to £0.20 in bonus funds and you can make up to 1,000 referrals. The total amount you earn will depend on how much your referral earns in bonus funds.
You can also boost your bonus funds by completing additional offers, these are often surveys but there are all kinds of different offers you can take part in.

I think the thing that often makes people believe that these kinds of lottery sites are scams is that we wonder how on earth they’re making any money if they’re giving large sums away every day.
