SaveMoneyCutCarbon Home LED Range
As well as being conscious about how much money we spend as a family, I am also very aware that we need to take steps to be more eco-friendly too. Thankfully, that doesn’t always need to cost a fortune. I recently received a range of eco-friendly home LED products available from SaveMoneyCutCarbon to review to see what they offer to help us all to both save money and cut our carbon usage.

SaveMoneyCutCarbon Home LED Range
One of the simplest ways that we can all save energy in our homes is to switch to energy-saving lightbulbs. But actually working out which bulbs we should be using can be tricky at first. SaveMoneyCutCarbon make it really easy to find the right bulbs to fit your home, and they sell a really wide range of products themselves too. You can browse the range of products either by searching for your particular light fitting, searching by room, or searching by energy usage, making it really easy to find what you’re looking for.
The range of energy-saving bulbs available is really extensive, and the prices are extremely competitive too, so there’s no excuse not to make the switch. The beauty of energy-saving bulbs is that they do last a lot longer than bulbs ever used to, so you will inevitably save money by not having to replace bulbs quite so often.
How will LED bulbs help you to save money?
Over the course of a year, you could save an average of £232 just by making the switch to LED bulbs. So, whilst LED bulbs may cost more to buy initially, you will make a saving over time. They last longer and they use less energy to run, making it a clear win for the money savers amongst us. In fact, LED bulbs last an average of 15,000 hours, whereas their traditional counterparts are only likely to last for around 2,000 hours.

How do LED bulbs help the planet?
There are a few things that make LED energy-saving bulbs more eco-friendly. Firstly, because they last so much longer than traditional light bulbs, there are fewer of them ending up in landfill sites. We should all be taking steps to reduce our household waste, so this is great news.
LED bulbs also have a much more efficient way of producing light, meaning that they use less energy without losing out on the amount of light they give off.

If you’re looking for ways to both cut back on your spending and help the environment, then switching to energy-saving lightbulbs is a great place to start.

Great post, we are actually in the middle of changing lights in our house to LED I think they offer better lighting options than the older style of lighting
My fiance is an electrician and one of the first things he did when we moved into our house was change all of our lighting to LED because it’s better for the environment, it’s cheaper and they last longer x
Oh that’s great! I bet he’s handy to have around!
I am always on the lookout for eco-friendly items and do often buy energy-saving bulbs. But I am still on the lookout for a good bulb that gives out a lot of light, as mine seem dull.
