Other ways you can save money

The Daily Mail Rewards Club is a great way to save money and I use it alongside a whole host of other things too. Being savvy with my money is something I’ve worked really hard on over the last few years, so I do have quite a few tricks up my sleeve!

If you’re looking for other ways to save some cash, then head over to my Money Saving section where you’ll find a whole range of posts all geared up to help you save your hard earned money!

Here are a few of my favourites:

Equity Release to Save You Money

If you’re over 55, you may want to opt for the smartest equity release solutions to save you 1,000’s. With the industry growing and interest rates currently low, you can release the value of your estate, spending as little as £1,500 on equity release fees, plus interest rates from 2.5%. In fact, it’s so popular that the Daily Mail often covers equity release!

Furthermore, with the Equity Release Council’s recent announcement that lenders must now provide the option for voluntary interest and loan repayments, homeowners can now repay their equity release within ten years, with no pressure or risk of foreclosure. This will save you fortunes by avoiding compound interest.

However, the biggest saving with equity release is that you can avoid inheritance tax by offering your family an early inheritance. Chat to a financial adviser who specialises in equity release to guide you through this process.
