30 Thanksgiving Breakfast Recipes for a Cozy Holiday Morning
Thanksgiving breakfast is probably not the meal you’ve been thinking about for weeks, but everyone still needs feeding before the turkey is ready. And if you’ve got people staying over, you might have a few more hungry people wandering into the kitchen than usual.
These Thanksgiving breakfast recipes are a mix of sweet and savory, with things like cinnamon rolls, muffins, pancakes, breakfast casseroles and sausage gravy. There are some really easy ones in here too because I don’t think anyone wants to spend all morning making breakfast when there’s a whole Thanksgiving dinner to deal with later.
I’ve also included a few Crockpot recipes and things you can get ready ahead of time. Make something big enough for everyone to help themselves to, put the coffee on and that’s breakfast sorted.
Why You’ll Love These Recipes
- Lots of choice. Some of us want something sweet in the morning and some of us definitely don’t, so I’ve included both. There are muffins, cinnamon rolls and pancakes as well as breakfast casseroles, sausage gravy and a few other savory ideas.
- Some of them do the work for you. I love the Crockpot recipes for Thanksgiving because I can get breakfast going and then forget about it while I get on with everything else.
- You don’t have to make a huge breakfast. If you know everyone will be eating a massive dinner later, there are lighter options like overnight oats, muffins and a breakfast sandwich too.
- They’re good if you’ve got people staying over. A few of the casseroles are especially handy when there are more mouths than usual to feed in the morning.
- Loads of fall flavors. Pumpkin, cranberry, apple, cinnamon and pecans all make an appearance, which feels just right for Thanksgiving morning.
