Boost Your Income Challenge – Day 13

Welcome to another instalment of the 30 Day Money Making Crash Course! I hope you’re enjoying it so far. Can you believe we’re nearly half way through???

Today I want to talk to you about making money on your online purchases. I’m talking about the things you buy day-to-day online.

Every single time I shop online, I try to remember to go through a cashback site.

What is cashback?

I’m sure most of us are familiar with cashback sites, but just in case you aren’t.

A cashback site pays you money back whenever you make a purchase through their site.

So, say you were going to buy car insurance. If you went through a valid link with a cashback site to make your purchase, then the cashback site would pay you money back on your purchase.

Top cashback sites.

There are quite a few cashback sites, but these are my favourites and the ones I’d definitely recommend signing up to!

Quidco

TopCashBack

Both sites offer similar things.

It can take a little while for your cashback to be credited and approved, but then it’s your money to withdraw.

If you do this regularly and make a point of using a cashback site EVERY TIME YOU SHOP, then you could quickly build up a lovely sum of money.

As well as Quidco and TopCashBack, I also use Swagbucks for cashback.

Swagbucks don’t tend to be as generous with their cashback, but I find it super easy to use. I’ve downloaded their browser extension which automatically alerts me whenever I visit a site offering cashback. Then, it’s simply a case of clicking a button and it’s done automatically. I’m always in such a rush that this works really well for me! The cashback is then added to my account as Swagbucks which I can convert to cash when I reach their payout threshold.

So, homework for today – get yourself signed up to each of the cashback sites – and then bookmark them so that you’re more likely to remember to use them!
