Chicano Park is a 7.9 acre park situated below the San Diego-Coronado bridge. Chicano Park sits in the oldest Mexican-American area of San Diego and is home to an abundance of Chicano murals with over 80 paintings dotted throughout the park. It’s a truly unique experience, and the murals create the perfect talking point for a first date when you really need something to break the ice!

Chicano Park is better enjoyed in the daylight, so this is a great option if you’re planning an afternoon date. Take a picnic with you and something refreshing to drink and you could really enjoy the perfect date here.

San Diego really does have a lot to offer, even if you have the smallest budget, there are plenty of interesting parks and coastal locations for you to visit and enjoy as a couple.
