While having a university degree can certainly help you land a high-paying job, it is not always necessary. Here are some of the top high-paid jobs that don’t require a university degree!

Electrician

To become an electrician, you will need to complete an apprenticeship. Once you have completed your apprenticeship, you will be able to find work as an electrician in both the commercial and residential sectors. And when you look at earning potential compared to other popular trades, electricians sit pretty comfortably in the top spot. Also, with an aging workforce, the demand for electricians is only going to grow in the coming years.

Carpenter

Like electricians, carpenters also need to complete an apprenticeship before they can find work in their field. And also like electricians, the demand for carpenters is expected to grow in the coming years. This is due in part to the growing popularity of home renovations and remodeling.
